Welcome to Nattira Translations. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Offered
Nattira Translations provides professional interpretation and translation services, including but not limited to:
- Document translation (legal, medical, academic, business, and personal documents)
- Video conference interpretation for medical, legal, and business settings
- Educational interpretation services
- Certified and notarized translations when required
- Language services in Spanish, English, American Sign Language (ASL), and Puerto Rican Sign Language (PRSL)
All services are subject to availability and are provided by appointment only for interpretation services.
2. Quotes and Pricing
Pricing for our services is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on factors including document length, complexity, language pair, turnaround time, and additional services such as notarization or certification.
We provide personalized quotes upon request. All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified. By accepting a quote and proceeding with the service, you agree to the stated pricing and terms.
Additional fees may apply for:
- Rush or expedited services
- Notarization services
- Apostille services
- Specialized technical or legal terminology requiring additional research
3. Payment Terms
Payment is required before delivery of completed translation work or at the time of interpretation services. When requesting a quote, we will send a payment link that contains the invoice and an option to pay with PayPal, a debit card, a credit card, Venmo, or Apple Pay. We also accept payments through ATH Móvil (284-442-1787) and Cash.
For interpretation services, payment may be required in advance depending on the nature and duration of the service. Clients will be notified of payment requirements when booking.
All fees are non-refundable once work has commenced, except as outlined in our Cancellation Policy.
4. Confidentiality
Nattira Translations is committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy. We understand that our clients entrust us with sensitive documents including legal contracts, medical records, financial statements, and personal information.
We guarantee that:
- All client information and documents will be kept strictly confidential
- Documents will not be shared with third parties without explicit written consent
- We will securely store and dispose of all client materials in accordance with professional standards
- Our translators and interpreters adhere to professional codes of ethics regarding confidentiality
- Upon request, we can provide Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for additional legal protection
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information. We are not liable for any consequences resulting from incomplete or inaccurate source materials.
5. Accuracy and Certification
We are committed to providing accurate and professional translations. All personal documents are certified by default, including a certification statement with our company name, credentials, and official stamp on all translated pages.
Certification is also available at no additional cost for non-personal documents upon request. Notarization services are available for documents that require legal authentication, with fees quoted separately.
While we strive for the highest accuracy, translation is an interpretive process. Clients should review all translations upon receipt and notify us immediately of any concerns. We will correct any errors at no additional charge if reported within 7 days of delivery.
We recommend that clients verify with the requesting entity whether notarization or apostille services are required for their specific documents.
6. Cancellation Policy
For translation services:
- Clients may cancel their order before work has commenced for a full refund
- Once translation work has begun, cancellations are subject to charges for work completed up to that point
- If a project is more than 50% complete, the full fee is due
For interpretation services:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will receive a full refund
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost
- No-shows or cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment will be charged the full service fee
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, including interpreter unavailability or technical issues. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
7. Intellectual Property
The translated content becomes the property of the client upon full payment. However, clients acknowledge that they do not acquire any rights to our translation methodologies, processes, templates, or proprietary tools.
Clients retain all rights to their original documents and source materials. We may retain copies of translations for quality assurance and record-keeping purposes, in accordance with our confidentiality commitments.
Clients agree not to reproduce, republish, or redistribute our certified translations without maintaining the complete certification statement and accompanying documentation.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nattira Translations provides professional translation and interpretation services with the highest standards of quality. However, we cannot be held liable for:
- Rejection of translated documents by third parties due to their internal policies or requirements
- Decisions made by government agencies, educational institutions, or other entities based on translated documents
- Consequences arising from inaccuracies in the original source documents provided by clients
- Technical difficulties or interruptions in video conference interpretation services due to internet connectivity or third-party platform issues
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that translated documents meet the specific requirements of the requesting entity and should verify all requirements before submitting translations.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the British Virgin Islands and the United States Virgin Islands, depending on the jurisdiction in which services are rendered.
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the British Virgin Islands or US Virgin Islands, as applicable.
Clients in other jurisdictions agree to these governing law provisions when engaging our services.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
For significant changes affecting existing clients, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice via email or through our website.

By requesting a quote, submitting documents for translation, or booking interpretation services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
